Holly was born on the 24th of December.
She was the only child of the great Harry and Hermione Potter. Her life was filled with traditions. If it wasn’t a war memorial or a Weasley weekly dinner or a family Quidditch trip it was this. On her birthday. Every year. ‘I’m seventeen now!’ she whined at Harry, as he pulled her down onto his lap with a chuckle, ‘I’m too old for this!’ ‘Nu-huh you are, and always will be, my little girl.’ ‘Everyone ready?’ Hermione smiled, sitting down on the old chair that had been expanded over the years to adapt to the rapidly growing legs, arms and bellies. ‘Aye, aye captain.’ Hermione grinned, opening the old dilapidated Christmas story book .
